Kalakala Night

  KHS was honored to be one of the first stops on Steve's quest to save the Kalakala. He is taking his message across the country all the way to the White House. This night was the first show of many he will do to gather support to save this historic piece of our history.  The Kalalaka was made here in Houghton.  It was the first commercial ship to have a radar system and holds a record for the number of passengers carried.   More can be found on Steve's website (http://www.kalakala.org/)   -- flyer --
